Financial Data Analyst in an entrepreneurial and international environment?

EasyPark is a rapidly growing tech company on a mission to make cities more livable. As a Financial Data Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the Finance teams at YourParkingSpace, part of the EasyPark Group.

How can you have an impact?

Role

YourParkingSpace processes millions of transactions monthly, with rapid growth. Ensuring the accuracy of billing and income data from the parking platform to our Finance ERP is critical. In this role, you will:

   • Validate billing and payments data processed by our parking platform and reported from our Finance ERP.

   • Create and maintain reports to support Finance team requirements.

   • Collaborate with Data teams responsible for parking platform tables and data sources.

   • Develop and maintain ETL pipelines for financial data to ensure accurate financial reporting.

   • Support implementation projects, including transitioning from Xero to NetSuite, Actuals IO, and redesigning CRM PipeDrive.

   • Drive finance transformation initiatives focused on automation and process optimization.

   • Translate finance requirements into technical specifications.

We are looking for a data-driven problem solver who understands how to use BI tools, create queries, interrogate data, and investigate anomalies. You should also have a strong understanding of financial reporting and be able to effectively communicate with key finance stakeholders.

The Role & Team

You Will Be Part Of The Financial Systems And Data Team, Which Supports The Core Financial And Management Accounting Functions Across The Group. The Team's Objectives Include

   • Streamlining financial processes and reporting with integrated systems.

   • Ensuring accurate, relevant, and complete financial data for informed decision-making.

   • Facilitating the adoption of financial software and tools for efficiency.

   • Managing data governance, quality, and security in the Finance department.

   • Supporting tax and financial reporting compliance with automated solutions.

   • Extracting, transforming, and loading financial data from various sources, including ERP systems.

   • Assisting in the implementation of a global finance ERP by ensuring the quality of billing and income reports and supporting related tasks like data migration.

This role will initially focus on the recently acquired YourParkingSpace team.

You Will Contribute & Make An Impact Through

   • Using Looker, SQL, and dbt to create queries, interrogate data, and investigate anomalies.

   • Validating billing and payments reports for reconciliations.

   • Building new reports based on the Financial Controller’s requirements.

   • Maintaining reports when new products, payment methods, or operational changes impact data.

   • Developing and maintaining ETL processes to extract, cleanse, and transform financial data from the ERP system.

Technical Skills

Your background (Experience & Skills Needed)

   • Advanced proficiency in:

   • SQL (must-have)

   • API (bonus)

   • Looker (bonus)

   • DBT (bonus)

   • Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, Python.

   • Experience in developing and maintaining ETL pipelines and understanding of data warehousing.

   • Proven ability to drive process change and take ownership of projects.

Industry Experience

   • Worked in industries with complex customer billing and payment processes, such as Financial Services, Banking.

   • Familiarity with complex financial reporting requirements.

   • Experience working with ERP systems and extracting data for financial reporting/analysis.

Practical Experience / Qualifications

   • Experienced Data Analyst with a strong finance focus.

   • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related subject.

   • Master’s Degree in Data or Analytics is a plus.
