Pay Range: $60 - $66 /hour on w2

Job Description:

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You will work cross-functionally with the FinOps Analytics team, Finance, SW Engineers, Data Engineers, Metrics, and dashboards as well as domain partners across Client. The team is responsible for the Cloud strategy and evolution to continue to meet the needs of the business and optimize financial opportunities.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

This SW Visualization Engineer / FinOps Engineer will be an integral part of the Infrastructure Engineering (IE) team with a focus on predictive modelling and Cloud Analytics. This role requires someone who can balance technical excellence with effective communication, bringing both vision and hands-on development expertise to the team. The successful candidate demonstrates leadership, values diverse perspectives, and fosters the technical community. This person will help pull together data and showcase opportunities across the technology portfolio and identify financial opportunities across the cloud eco system. The right candidate for this position will have experience working cross-functionally with Finance teams, Strategy, Product Leads, Program Managers, and possess the ability to communicate effectively and use influence to drive decisions using data and will be comfortable learning new technologies and be a strategic thinker. This person will need to be able to work independently and build models to improve the analytics and cloud deliverables in a more sustainable manner. This role in not remote and candidate will need to adhere to Client's office policy.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

If you believe this is you, you'll be working cross-functionally and will have partners across the globe and will build relationships and rapport accordingly. You will help to drive strategic discussions using data to build stories to help further the teams' advancement. As a Software Engineer II you will work across multiple teams and products to develop the cloud computing systems and platforms that will drive Client's Business for the next decade You will be analyzing financial information and helping to make recommendations and tracking spend across multiple categories.

Must be a team player and skilled at building relationships

Demonstrated experience with Java development, cloud computing platforms, and microservices architecture (4 years of practical application or 2 years with advanced education)

Data Visualization experience to drive decisions and tell a comprehensive story

Be able to understand financial and cloud analytics and connect to engineering and business goals

Cloud financial Analytics and Financial modelling

Ability to think strategically and marry technical knowledge with business accoutrement

Experience with cloud computing platforms, containerization, infrastructure as code, configuration management tools and CI/CD build systems

Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with evolving technologies

Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant education, training, and experience

Experienced and comfortable presenting to all levels of the organization

All Microsoft Suite required especially Excel, Power Point

Solid communication written and oral

Experience working with highly technical individuals

Able to use data to tell a story and drive decisions based on factual data

Strong problem-solving skills

Experience with JIRA, ServiceNow, Confluence, AWS and Azure knowledge
