Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement ETL testing strategies for Talend and Snowflake environments.
• Develop test plans and test cases focused on validating data integrity and transformation processes.
• Execute automated and manual test scripts to validate ETL processes.
• Collaborate with data engineers to identify and diagnose data quality issues.
• Participate in code reviews to assess code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Utilize SQL to perform data analysis and validation post-ETL processes.
• Document testing processes, including test plans, test cases, and results.
• Track defects and issues found during testing and work with development teams to resolve them.
• Perform regression testing to confirm the sustainability of existing functionalities.
• Monitor ETL performance and optimize testing procedures for efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and privacy policies.
• Provide feedback on project requirements and functional specifications.
• Conduct root cause analysis for data discrepancies and present findings.
• Participate in the planning and execution of user acceptance testing (UAT).

Required Qualifications
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake cloud data warehousing.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database technologies.
• Experience in developing and executing automated test cases.
• Familiarity with data modeling principles and data warehousing concepts.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and project management practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Prior experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools is a plus.
• Certifications in Talend or other ETL tools are advantageous.
