

Director of Governance
Title: Director, Corporate Tools & Governance
Duration: 12 months contract to hire
Location: Remote

This is an IT role; we are looking for a director of governance of our corporate tools, such as Planview, SharePoint, and MS Office.
Experience:
• Must have a bachelor's degree
• 8 years of leadership experience in managing complex solutions across multiple technology platforms and business partners
• 8 years experience in corporate governance, legal compliance, risk management, or similar roles, ideally within a tech company
• 8 years experience managing teams consisting of remote personnel that are a mix of employees, vendors, and contractors
• 5 years managing service providers, costs, integration support models, and customer needs/expectations
• 5 years in leadership roles with responsibility for teams, budgets, and strategic decision-making
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and oversee corporate governance policies and procedures designed for optimal support of business goals and objectives
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, SEC requirements and cybersecurity regulations)
• Monitor changes in governance laws, data privacy regulations, and risk management frameworks
• Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure that corporate tools align with data protection and security standards
• Identify and implement AI-driven or automated solutions for governance reporting and risk assessment
• Act as a liaison between senior leadership and operational teams to align goals and objectives.
• Support enterprise initiatives, ensuring corporate responsibility practices align with governance standards.
• Develop reports on governance metrics and risk assessments for stakeholders.
• Oversee and optimize the day-to-day functional operations related to the business areas associated with corporate tools/systems.
• Identify and implement internal business processes that accompany identified corporate tools
• Develop and implement operational strategies to support business goals and objectives
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to optimize performance.
