

DevOps Engineer
• Must be local to the greater Los Angeles area.

We’re looking for a passionate engineer who love Linux & contributing to opensource projects, intimately familiar with cloud infrastructure, and are more comfortable in the shell as they are in an IDE. Lean, agile, self-sufficient teams is how we operate. We value a cloud first approach where we develop infrastructure-as-code. Automation should always do the work. You will be a part of the team that provides cutting edge film making systems in the public cloud, focused on automation and infrastructure-as-code for all studios.

• Define, create, and build high-quality systems
• Collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional teams
• Evangelize new technologies and industry best practices
• Contribute new ideas to a larger community of high-caliber engineers
• Self healing infrastructure-as-code, and automate everything

What’s Your Story?
• Smart, self-driven with a keen focus on and track record of exceptional delivery of innovative solutions
• Experience with coding and automation in at least one modern programming language such as Python, React, or C#
• Proficiency and understanding of 12-Factor application design
• Experience conducting unit, integration, and performance testing to ensure the quality and reliability of code
• Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and best practices
• Experience implementing observability practices to monitor and analyze system behavior, identify issues, and optimize performance
• Experience with Cloud/PaaS Environments (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Compute)
• Thorough knowledge of continuous integration tools (e.g. Gitlab CI, Jenkins)
• Passionate about ways to exploit technology and constantly learning
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Embodies a DevOps culture with continuous delivery, cloud, and fully automated infrastructure as code
• BS in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of experience or equivalent
