

DevOps Engineer III
Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking a DevOps Engineer III in Lindon, UT. Summary: We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to drive the automation, deployment, and optimization of scalable infrastructure solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cutting-edge DevOps practices, ensuring seamless integration across diverse platforms. You will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of software deployment, from initial design through production release, while maintaining high availability, security, and performance. Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software development and deployment processes
• Develop and integrate automation solutions to improve system efficiency, scalability, and reliability
• Work closely with software engineers, architects, and IT teams to ensure best practices in DevOps, security, and cloud-based solutions
• Oversee configuration management and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
• Orchestrate and manage deployments across cloud and on-premises environments
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and proactively implement solutions to enhance infrastructure resilience
• Ensure security best practices by implementing DevSecOps principles and continuous compliance monitoring
• Develop mechanisms for rapid recovery, failure handling, and rollback strategies to minimize downtime
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technical teams
Requirements
• Experience in server virtualization and networking concepts, ensuring system scalability and high availability
• Experience integrating automated software testing into deployment pipelines
• Experience working in global, enterprise-level environments with complex infrastructures
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and API management
• Strong knowledge of DevOps methodologies and DevSecOps principles with hands-on experience applying them
• Strong understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems administration
• Understanding of security best practices in cloud and DevOps environments
• Expertise in CI/CD pipeline development
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
• Effective communication skills with the ability to influence and drive technical initiatives
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
