Position: Container Engineer

Openings: 1

Location: Addison, TX (onsite 5 days per week)

Duration: 12-18 month contract + opportunity for conversion

Payrate: $75-80/hr

Must Haves:

   • Strong Kubernetes experience

   • Strong ability to build, deploy, & route config.Yaml files for containerization

   • Strong OpenShift experience

   • Familiar with features such as (namespaces, pods, deployments, routes, configmaps, secrets, HPA etc..)

   • Ability to execute linux commands and write shell scripts

   • Troubleshooting issues through checking Splunk logs, OpenShift, and Dynatrace

   • Ansible playbooks experience

   • Familiar with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkinsfile

Plusses:

   • Authentication & Authorization infrastructure experience

Day-to-Day:

Insight Global is searching for an Container Engineer for one of our international financial clients’ Identity and Authentication group. This individual will be required to be onsite 5 days/week.

   • Configure and operate dedicated OpenShift container platform for SSO applications, including PingFederate, PingAccess, and PingDirectory.

   • Sr. Engineering level guidance, oversight, and direction on implementation and operational practices in the OpenShift environment

   • Ability to identify, analyze, and address problems to resolve issues in a way that minimizes negative impact and risk to the organization as you will be viewed as a technology subject matter expert.

   • Effective communication skills and motivation/willingness to learn.

   • Document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality.

   • Adhere to team delivery/release process and cadence pertaining to solution deployment and release.
