DevOps Engineer

Job Description:

We're looking for a DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience automating the migration of CI/CD pipelines from Azure DevOps and Jenkins to GitHub Actions. This is not a manual re-creation role — we need someone who can design, script, and automate the entire migration process.

Key Responsibilities:

   • Analyze and document existing pipelines in Azure DevOps and Jenkins

   • Build automation tools/scripts to migrate pipelines into GitHub Actions

   • Handle integrations with Azure Marketplace and GitHub Marketplace

   • Develop mapping strategies and reusable frameworks

   • Write clear runbooks and documentation for the new GitHub workflows

   • Mentor internal teams on GitHub Actions best practices

   • Troubleshoot and resolve migration issues

   • Present technical updates and findings to stakeholders

Required Technical Skills:

   • Strong experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins

   • Proven experience automating CI/CD migrations — not just manual recreation

   • Deep knowledge of YAML, custom GitHub Actions, and CI/CD workflows

   • Proficiency in scripting languages: Python, PowerShell, or Bash

   • Familiarity with container tools like Docker and Kubernetes

   • Experience working with Azure Marketplace & GitHub Marketplace apps

   • Clear communicator, both verbal and written

   • Strong documentation and runbook creation skills

   • Ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical teams
