

Databricks/ETL Developer
Our client, a leader in data engineering, is seeking a Databricks/ETL Developer to join their team. As a Databricks/ETL Developer, you will be part of the Data Engineering department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Databricks/ETL Developer
Location: Hybrid (Jersey City, NJ – 2x/week onsite, 3 days remote)
Pay Range: Competitive compensation package
What's the Job?
• Design and develop scalable, high-performance data pipelines in Azure Databricks.
• Implement data ingestion pipelines from multiple sources using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Lead ETL, data integration, and migration efforts across projects.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Maintain data quality and consistency while integrating end-to-end data pipelines.
What's Needed?
• Proficiency in Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL DB.
• Strong database experience with Data Warehouse and Data Lakehouse.
• Solid understanding of SQL, T-SQL, and/or PL/SQL.
• Experience in Agile methodologies and tools like Jira.
• Hands-on experience with performance tuning and optimizing code within Databricks.
