Database Analyst
Salary: $39.59 to $45.84 hourly

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Database Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with JD Edwards ERP systems, Advanced Excel skills, and proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation. This role will support business operations by analyzing data, developing reports, and improving processes through automation and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from JD Edwards and other systems.
• Create and maintain complex reports, dashboards, and data models using Advanced Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, VBA/macros).
• Write Python scripts for data automation, cleansing, and analysis tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Supply Chain, IT) to understand data needs and provide actionable insights.
• Monitor data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems.
• Troubleshoot data-related issues and work with technical teams to resolve them.
• Document processes and maintain accurate records of data workflows and procedures.
• Assist in data migration, integration, and system upgrade projects involving JD Edwards.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Database Analyst or similar role.
• Strong working knowledge of JD Edwards (Oracle JDE) including data structures and reporting tools.
• Expert in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, VBA, Power Query, pivot tables, and charting).
• Proficient in Python for data manipulation and scripting (e.g., pandas, openpyxl, SQLAlchemy).
• Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
• Solid understanding of data governance, quality, and best practices.
