Database Administrator - IV

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator IV to support enterprise database operations and management. This role requires expertise in Oracle, SQL Server, and high-availability database environments. The position is hybrid at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, with the potential for full remote work in the future.
Responsibilities:

Manage and optimize Oracle 11g/12c and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
Implement backup, recovery, and performance tuning strategies.
Ensure high availability and disaster recovery planning.
Configure and maintain multi-node database clusters.
Troubleshoot database performance issues and security vulnerabilities.

Qualifications:

7+ years of experience (Master’s) or 13+ years (HS diploma) in database administration.
Strong expertise in Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and

Microsoft SQL Server high-availability solutions.

Experience with Linux environments (Red Hat preferred).
Knowledge of cloud-based database solutions is a plus.
