Data Visualization Specialist
Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Visualization Specialist in Johnston, RI. Responsibilities:
• Data Visualization Specialist will create visually appealing and user-friendly data visualizations and dashboards, for various user types, using Power BI, with integration of Adobe Analytics and Workfront
• Work closely with Workfront project team, and Business Leads to gather requirements and collaboratively prototype effective visualizations in works
• Validate data and ensure that visualizations accurately represent the underlying data sets
• As a Data Visualization Specialist, you will ensure that visualizations are accessible and easy to understand for all user types
• Create training videos and materials to support team members and end-users on how to interact with and interpret visualizations
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Design, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data visualization or a related role
• Demonstrated experience with data visualization for executive and enterprise portfolio level information required
• Strong understanding of UX principles
• Knowledge of data structures, SQL, and semantic modeling
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and visual quality
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively
• Ability to analyze complex data sets and extract meaningful insights
• Ability to create effective training materials and videos for dashboard users
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
