Lead Data Validation & Management Engineer

My client is on a mission to develop world-class hybrid and fully electric powertrains, delivering electrifying performance and peerless refinement.

They are looking for a Lead Data Validation & Management Engineer to ensure that test data is timely, accurate, secure, and accessible—empowering engineering teams to make critical decisions. In this role, you will work across Electric Machine, Electric Drive Unit (EDU), Inverter, Battery, Power-in-Loop (PiL), and Vehicle-in-Loop (ViL) test environments, enabling cutting-edge propulsion system development.

What You’ll Do:
• Lead data management & validation across electrified powertrain test environments
• Develop a federated data platform and deploy common tools for data piping & validation
• Ensure data integrity, accessibility, and security for engineers across the business
• Work cross-functionally to improve data quality and standardize processes
• Be the Subject Matter Expert on data validation and deliver training to enhance team capabilities

Key Skills & Experience:
• Physical testing experience – Have you worked in test labs, validation environments, or data-driven teams?
• Programming & Automation – Experience with Python, MATLAB, or Concerto for tool and system development
• Data Pipelines & Cloud Platforms – Expertise in data storage & management on AWS or Google Cloud
• Data Visualization – Proficiency with Tableau or other visualization tools to present key insights
• Advanced Data Analysis – Ability to apply hypothesis testing, uncertainty analysis, and process variation techniques

Preferred Qualifications:
• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification (preferred)
• Experience in measurement science & quantitative analysis

This is a contract position for 1 year paying £250 a day.
