Data Test Engineer

Job Title: Test Engineer

Duration: 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods

Location: Remote

We are seeking a Test Engineer with expertise in test data management and enterprise data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will lead test data generation, production data obfuscation, and quality assurance efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
• Configure, administer, and optimize enterprise data stores for testing and validation.
• Implement ETL/ELT methods, batch and streaming data transport, and API development.
• Develop test data generation strategies, ensuring secure obfuscation of production data.
• Support enterprise test data management lifecycle, ensuring integrity and performance.
• Work with database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, MariaDB, MySQL, Azure Database services).
• Utilize Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Git, JIRA, or Microsoft Project to plan and track testing activities.
• Collaborate with Agile teams, developers, and business analysts to validate test scenarios.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise data management and test engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in test data management, including test data generation and production data obfuscation.
• Proficiency in ETL/ELT methods, batch and streaming data transport, and API development.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, MariaDB, MySQL, and Azure Database services.
• Experience using Git, JIRA, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, or Microsoft Project for test management.
• Demonstrated experience in enterprise-level data operations and system integration.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
