Data Scientist (Remote)

Our client is looking for a Data Scientist for a 3-month contract working remotely.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.

Required Skills & Experience
• Must have: Strong SQL skills, with experience querying Google BigQuery or other cloud-based databases
• Experience in data cleaning, transformation, and structuring
• Ability to handle large datasets efficiently and extract meaningful insights
• An understanding of statistical methods and analysis is a plus
• Familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus.

What You Will Be Doing
• Query large datasets from Google BigQuery, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Clean, structure, and transform raw data into usable formats for analysis
• Optimize SQL queries for performance and efficiency
• Collaborate closely with the project lead to understand data needs and define reporting structures
• Assist in running statistical analyses to determine coefficients of key variables
• Create dashboards or visualizations in Tableau, Power BI, or others to highlight insights. Most visualizations will be presented in PPT format using tools such as ThinkCell
