Sr. Data Scientist (100% Remote)
Excellent opportunity with a global company! You will support the Sr. Manager of Quantitative Research on a team tasked with pricing digital banner ads for vendors on a major e-commerce site. You will focus on Data Science financials, e-commerce metrics, and solving challenges. This will be a crucial part in supporting and driving growth in a critical organization within the enterprise.
This is an 18-month contract (potential to extend or convert to perm).
This is a 100% remote role.
You must live in the U.S. & work EST or CST hours.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Translate data into insights, actions, & recommendations
• Data analytics with large volumes of data
• Data modeling, cleansing, validation, & testing
• Collaborate with teams (Engg UX, & Product Management) to create solutions
• Vision building & forecasting
• Expanding capabilities and building and executing new algorithms
REQUIREMENTS:
• Master's Degree in a related field
• 5+ years as a Data Scientist working with large datasets
• 5+ years with SQL & Python
• Experience working in an enterprise e-commerce or digital analytics space
• Time Series model/forecasting experience (N-Beats, ARIMA, SARIMA, Sarimax, Prophet, Exponential Smoothing, XGBoost, Neural Nets, LSTM, etc.)
• Machine Learning / AI skills
• Cloud environment experience (GCP
• preferred, AWS, or Azure)
• Ability to communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical end users
