Our client is seeking a Senior Data Scientist,

Initial 11 Month contract and the position will be hybrid with weekly visits required to site in London.

This position is to join our clients AI Trading team!

The models the client develops are market related, so explicit experience of financial time series would be ideal.

You must have work experience in the power (e.g. batteries), gas, or crude and products markets!

Skills and requirements:
• You need to have experience of model development and deployment and be proficient in Python.
• You will need to have a strong STEM background (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
• Demonstrable knowledge of predictive modeling for financial time-series forecasting
• Experience across the project life-cycle from ideation to delivery
• Hands-on experience of building Machine Learning models in Python
• Experience working with tools such as VS Code, Github, conda prompt, Databricks on Azure
• Proficient in coding in Python to package software
