Role: Sr. Data Scientist Architect

Location: Phoenix, Arizona (Remote)

Duration: Contract

Must Have Skills: Good hands-on experience with Python development and Technical Lead abilities.

Responsibilities:
• MS/PhD in engineering or compute intensive physics/math/basic sciences
• 2-3 years enterprise experience, preferably as a senior-DS or MLE.
• Strong python and SQL
• Someone who is willing and proficient in hands on coding and willing to wear many hats
• Lead the design and implementation of data science solutions to address complex business challenges.
• Oversee the development and deployment of machine learning models and algorithms.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
• Ensure the scalability and performance of data science solutions.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data science processes and methodologies.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data science and machine learning.
• Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Optimize data pipelines and workflows for efficiency and performance.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data science practices within the organization.
• Drive innovation by exploring new techniques and technologies in data science.

Qualifications:
• Possess a strong background in data science with 10 to 13 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in machine learning, statistical analysis, and data visualization.
• Have experience with programming languages such as Python or R.
• Show expertise in using data science tools and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or SciKit-learn.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
• Have excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Display a collaborative mind-set and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Be detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality results.
• Stay current with industry trends and continuously seek to improve skills and knowledge.
• Demonstrate experience in working with large datasets and cloud platforms.
• Have a solid understanding of data engineering principles and practices.
• Show the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• Possess a passion for leveraging data to drive business value and impact society positively.
