Genesis10 is currently seeking a Data Management Analyst with our client in the financial Industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 3+ month contract position.
Responsibilities:
• Pull and interpret data from Power BI, Power Apps, and Excel dashboards to analyze finance data defect trends
• Translate large datasets from ED QDM and other sources into clear, executive-ready insights
• Monitor SLA adherence across defect phases; identify breaches and inconsistencies
• Prepare and distribute weekly reports using Excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc.) with data refreshes and commentary
• Draft monthly executive summary decks with concise, actionable bullet point
• Manage stakeholder communication around SLA breaches and open data defects, including escalation emails
• Perform monthly data control validations and support risk mitigation efforts in coordination with governance teams
• Troubleshoot and maintain Excel-based reporting tools to ensure data integrity
Required Qualifications:
• 7+ years of experience in Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management
• Advanced Excel proficiency: pivot tables, complex formulas, error tracing, and data modeling
• PowerPoint expertise for executive-level reporting and presentation
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a risk and controls mindset
• Familiarity with Power BI and Power Apps (as data sources - no development required)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to summarize complex data for leadership
Pay Range: $60-70
