Data Governance Analyst

Data Governance & Assurance Analyst - 6 month Outside Contract

Orbition Group continue to work with one of the world's top general insurance and reinsurance organisations.

You will be supporting the Head of Data Governance, Assurance & Oversight in implementing and maintaining an enterprise-wide data governance, assurance and compliance frameworks.

You will work with data owners, stewards, and IT teams to support governance implementation, conduct assurance activities, and provide reporting on data governance maturity and compliance.

Key Responsibilities include:
• Data Governance Framework Support
• Data Compliance & Regulatory Support - APRA, FCA, PRA, ICO
• Data Assurance & Quality Reviews
• Enterprise Data Issue Management & Resolution

Experience needed includes:
• Experience in data governance, data quality, or data management within FS, Insurance or Banking
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks and data quality best practices e.g. DCAM, DAMA-DMBOK
• Knowledge of data compliance requirements e.g. APRA, FCA, PRA, ICO
• Experience conducting data assurance reviews
• Analytical skills
• Proficient in tooling such as Collibra, Informatica Axon or IBM InfoSphere

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented data governance professional looking to support the implementation, assurance, and oversight of data governance and compliance frameworks within a global organization.

Location: London

Hybrid: 4 days a week in the office

Contract Length: 6 months, strong possibility for renewal

Start Date: ASAP

Day Rate: £350 - 400 p/d
