Our client, a nationally recognized and award-winning leader in the health insurance industry, is seeking a Senior Data & Analytics Governance Analyst for a contract-to-hire opportunity.

Location Requirements
This is a remote position, but candidates must reside in North Carolina or one of the following states:
Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Wisconsin, or Wyoming.
Key Responsibilities
Develop & Maintain AI and IT Governance Frameworks, Policies, and Procedures
• Develop a comprehensive AI Governance program for regulatory compliance.
• Establish AI governance standards and procedures ensuring consistency and efficiency.
• Clearly define policy scope, purpose, definitions, requirements, and responsibilities.
• Ensure compliance with NAIC Standards and the NIST Framework.
• Regularly review and update policies to reflect regulatory changes and best practices.
Risk Assessment & Compliance Audits
• Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and non-compliance risks.
• Perform audits and provide reports with actionable recommendations.
Monitoring & Reporting
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure governance effectiveness.
• Prepare reports on compliance status and governance metrics.
Collaboration & Support
• Work with AI, IT, and business teams to align governance strategies.
• Provide guidance on governance frameworks and compliance matters.
Governance Initiatives & Continuous Improvement
• Assist in developing and implementing governance projects.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes in AI and IT governance.
Required Skills & Experience
Data Engineering background
• Strong knowledge of NAIC Standards & NIST Framework
• Experience with AI and IT governance frameworks
• Expertise in risk assessment & compliance auditing
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Strong technical writing skills for creating governance documentation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Agile mindset with flexibility to manage competing priorities

• Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background check.
