Job Title: Data Engineer (Remote – California Based Candidates Only)
Location: Remote (Must be based in California)
Duration: Contract – 6 Months (Possible Extension)
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with a strong background in building scalable data pipelines, data warehousing, and analytics tools to support our client marketing teams. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ETL/ELT, large-scale data processing, and dashboard development for Marketing Analytics or MarTech use cases.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support analytics and dashboarding needs.
• Work with large datasets to generate insights and power marketing analytics dashboards.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across various ETL/ELT processes.
• Build and optimize data models to enhance reporting and decision-making.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop analytics solutions that drive campaign performance.
• Support and maintain batch data processing workflows for business-critical reporting.
Required Qualifications:
✔ 4–6 years of experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT, and data pipeline development.
✔ Strong background in data warehousing, batch data processing, and dashboard support.
✔ Experience working with large datasets for analytics and reporting.
✔ Hands-on experience building dashboards or analytics tools for marketing teams or campaigns.
✔ Proficiency in SQL, Python, Spark, or other relevant data engineering tools.
✔ Experience in Marketing Analytics or Marketing Technology (MarTech) is a plus.
Preferred Background:
🔹 Experience working in top-tier tech companies such as Airbnb, Uber, or Adobe (Marketing Cloud teams).
🔹 Strong understanding of advertising data, customer segmentation, and marketing performance analytics.
