

Data Business Analyst
We are seeking a Data Business Analyst to support strategic initiatives within the technology department of a reputable financial institution based in London. The successful candidate will have a keen understanding of data structures, business data requirements, and process modelling.

Description
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
• Analyse and interpret complex data sets.
• Collaborate with IT teams to design data systems and prepare for implementation.
• Facilitate training sessions and workshops on new systems.
• Maintain communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment of objectives.
• Monitor data integrity and create strategies for data quality improvement.
• Document processes and conduct business readiness assessments.
• Support the development of project plans and timelines.
Profile
A successful Data Business Analyst should have:
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
• Strong knowledge of business process modelling and data structuring.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• The ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• A problem-solving mindset with a strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of cloud environments (Google cloud is a plus).
• Knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and reporting. Also, data warehousing concepts and tools such as Big Query.
• Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Power BI and Tableau)
• Experience of working with banking products such as Mortgages, Loans, Deposits, Foreign Exchange, Bonds and Interest Rate Derivatives.
• Banking experience preferred.
Job Offer
• An attractive daily rate of £450 - £550 a day Outside IR35.
