Role description

Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, is seeking a Data Business Analyst to join their team. As a Data Business Analyst, you will be part of the Compliance department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a collaborative spirit which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Data Business Analyst

Location: Plano, TX (3 days onsite required - Hybrid work schedule)

Pay Range: $56.18 per hour (W2 Only - Local candidates preferred)

What's the Job?

   • Research and review new and upcoming laws, rules, and regulations, providing documentation and tracking impacts to the bank.

   • Collaborate with Marketing, Consumer, Legal, and Compliance teams to design solutions that meet privacy legislative requirements.

   • Determine project scope documentation and identify/refine requirements.

   • Track and report on project status/deliverables and produce project artifacts.

   • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the IT department to ensure compliance with bank standards and policies.

What's Needed?

   • 5 years of experience as a data analyst with a proven ability to translate business requirements into technical data requirements.

   • Understanding of current privacy laws, including GDPR and CPRA.

   • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize work and manage complexity.

   • Detail-oriented with strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

   • Experience with project management and the ability to gather and catalog functional, non-functional, and technical requirements.
