

Data Analytics and Reporting Director
The Data Analytics and Reporting Director is responsible for overseeing change control requests, managing data loading into the warehouse, and producing reports from the Surveillance Utilization Reporting Systems (SURS) and Management Administration Reporting Systems (MARS). The role requires deep knowledge of IT data processes, ensuring data flows efficiently in and out of the data warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage change control requests.
• Oversee data loading into the data warehouse.
• Generate reports from SURS and MARS.
• Assist the Contract and Overall Operations Director with administrative duties such as tracking project metrics, milestones, and resource utilization.
• Ensure compliance with architectural standards, documentation requirements, and testing protocols.
• Communicate project progress to the DHCS Contract Manager.
• Be based in Sacramento or within 120 miles to attend onsite meetings as needed.
MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS
• The proposed staff must have five (5) years of FTE experience performing broad, extensive, and increasingly responsible Project Manager project experience applying project management principles, methods, techniques, and tools. Five (5) Years OR
• Nine (9) years, if substituting bachelor's degree for additional qualifying experience.
• The proposed staff must have three (3) years of FTE experience in a lead capacity, performing broad, extensive, and increasingly responsible Project Manager project experience applying project management principles, methods, techniques, and tools. Three (3) Years
• The proposed staff must possess a bachelor’s degree in IT or Engineering related field.
• Additional qualifying experience of requirement M1 may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis, up to four (4) years.
• The proposed staff must possess a valid Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
• The proposed staff must have five (5) years of FTE experience with any State or Federal Agency that administers Medi-Cal or Medicaid programs.
Desirable Qualifications
• Points may be awarded if the proposed staff has a minimum of one (1) year of FTE experience using Microsoft Project or similar PM software creating detailed work breakdown schedules.
• Points may be awarded if the proposed staff has a minimum of one (1) year of FTE experience in facilitating written communication, such as developing status reports, creating/updating technical and procedure documentation, and communication with team members, end users and stakeholders using the following: 1. Microsoft Office 365 2. VISIO 3. Project Management Tools - One (1) or more years.
