Manufacturing Data Analyst = Data Analytics - Python, SQL, Tableau

Skill Set:

o Python (required), SQL, MSSQL

o Tableau Server/Desktop/Prep setup and dashboard building

o Experience in managing and communicating complex projects and collaborating with cross

functional teams to accomplish project goals within expected timelines.

o Knowledgeable on data governance concepts and implementation

o Data Analytics

o Change Management

o Data Historian/ Time Series Data

o Data Modeling, relational integrity

o ETL experience with different ranges of technology

o Denodo/Data virtualization experience preferred

o Knowledgeable on deployment process flow concepts

o Strong initiative, results orientation, and able to work independently with minimal direction.

o Demonstrated ability to see differing perspectives and work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

This position will be supporting our data platforms through analysis and

investigation. A strong mindset in business insights with an analytics background will help enable

data visualizations and solve problems, while helping maintain the technical foundation they are

built on. Knowledge of industry standard applications and database theory will allow us to

transform the business by optimizing our workflow and data processing to deliver data to the shop

floor.

   • 50% new development/50% maintenance.

   • Helping influence and implement an end-to-end vision for how production data can be presented

within an analysis platform

   • Investigate short term problems, and long term data needs with thorough investigation, clear

presentation of findings, demonstrating strong skills in python and SQL

   • Partner with Supply Chain to define, document, implement and maintain business processes and

data workflows.

   • Develop data visualizations and drive reporting solutions based on feedback from Engineers, PCIT

Developers and End Users needs

   • Recommend visualization platforms for reports based on requirements, platform capabilities,

company policies and best fit.

   • Help our engineers and PCIT developers create data reports for business, gathering requirements

and investigating needs

   • • Will work with the manager, regional automation or process engineers depending on the site.
