Primary Talent Partners has an open 6 month W2 contract with a large life sciences client of ours in the Marlborough, MA area!

The role is paying between $24.00-26.00/hr without pto, benefits, etc (ACA-compliant healthcare plan available to opt-in to)  Role Overview:

The Data Architect / Data Analyst will play a leadership role in enterprise-wide Data Quality Management, Data Resource Management, Data Stewardship, and Data Administration programs. This role requires a strong technical background, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to ensure data architecture aligns with strategic business needs.

Key Responsibilities:Enterprise Data Architecture & Management:

   • Lead the development of Data Management Process Frameworks and Capability Maturity Models.

   • Develop quantitative maturity assessment and scoring models.

   • Execute Data Management Capability Maturity Assessments for specific functional areas of the business.

   • Define an enterprise information architecture that supports business information needs.

Data Architecture Standards & Strategy:

   • Establish Data Architecture Process Standards and Metadata Management Infrastructure Strategy.

   • Develop Master Data Hub Technology Architecture.

   • Provide architectural deliverables for portfolio management and SDLC.

   • Collaborate with Global Shared Service Governance teams to institutionalize policies and standards.

   • Facilitate agreement of Enterprise Architecture definitions with Global Shared Service partners.

Technical Responsibilities:

   • Perform data modeling, physical database design, and database tuning.

   • Develop and maintain application programs & interfaces.

   • Translate detailed specifications into new or enhanced application solutions.

   • Work with project teams and business analysts to ensure seamless data integration.

   • Utilize tools such as ERWin, Informatica PowerCenter (ETL), and Data Profiling.

Collaboration & Communication:

   • Maintain relationships across IT teams (Infrastructure, Operations, COE, etc.) to support effective implementations.

   • Communicate with stakeholders in a timely and effective manner regarding data architecture status and relevant issues.

Qualifications & Technical Skills:Required Experience:

   • 4+ years of IT program development experience.

   • Full system development life cycle experience, including:

   • Analysis, design, coding, testing, performance tuning, and documentation.

   • Strong background in SQL and PL/SQL.

   • Experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS).

   • Familiarity with SEI CMMI process improvement frameworks.

   • Hands-on experience with ERP Data Architecture.

   • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to evaluate cross-functional data standardization requirements.

   • Experience with Computer Systems Validation and Software Quality Assurance.

Soft Skills & Leadership:

   • Ability to resolve complex issues related to enterprise-wide data architecture.

   • Strong team-building and matrix management capabilities.

   • Effective communicator with C-level executives and cross-functional teams.

   • Ability to explain technical issues and resolutions to both technical and non-technical staff.

   • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach.
