Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and insightful Data Analyst to join our team in Leetsdale, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating sales data, identifying trends, and detecting gaps or deficiencies. This position offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity and necessitates on-site presence.
Responsibilities
• Evaluate sales data to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
• Identify and investigate gaps or deficiencies in data trends.
• Use advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Apply Analytics, Business Intelligence (BI), and Data Analysis skills to support decision-making processes.
• Work with accounting software, preferably NetSuite, for data management.
• Use Apache Spark, Database, EO/IR systems, Erwin Data, and HDFS for data processing and analysis.
• Implement AB Testing to optimize data-driven strategies.
• Use AWS Technologies for cloud-based data storage and processing.
• Create and manage Business Requirement Documents to align data analysis with business needs.
• Deliver excellent customer service, addressing and resolving customer inquiries.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Apache Spark is essential for managing large amounts of data.
• Strong knowledge of Database structures and operations is required.
• Familiarity with EO/IR systems is necessary for the role.
• Proficiency in Erwin Data for data modeling and database design.
• Working knowledge of HDFS (Hadoop Distributed File System) is required.
• Experience in AB Testing for optimizing user experience and decision making.
• Strong analytics skills to examine large data sets and draw conclusions.
• Proficiency in AWS Technologies for data storage and management.
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) tools for converting data into actionable insights.
• Ability to create Business Requirement Documents detailing business needs.
• Strong skills in Data Analysis for examining, cleaning, and transforming data.
• Expertise in Data Analytics to derive meaningful business insights from data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
• Familiarity with NetSuite for business operations and customer relationship management.
• Excellent Customer Service skills to interact with clients and understand their requirements.
