Role description

Our ecommerce agency client is looking for a data analyst to support their team! This is a fully remote freelance role starting as soon as late April, for 3 months 20-25hrs/week. There is potential for this to extend of convert to a full time opportunity.

In this role, the data analyst will be responsible for:

   • Executing analytics and conversion tracking implementations, tag management, and

dataLayer specifications.

   • Report building & Analysis using BI tools like Google Data Studio/Looker & Power BI

   • Conduct testing and validation for all tracking implementations

   • Interpreting and analyzing data insights, helping to

uncover trends, customer behaviors, and areas for improvement

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

   • Experience working with retail/CPG clients is ideal (Cosmetics, apparel, etc.)

   • Agency experience is a preferred

   • CRO Reports/presentations to share

   • Experience being client facing and presenting work to clients

   • Extensive experience with Google Tag Manager and a deep understanding of

concepts such as DataLayer; advanced capabilities in Google Analytics (GA4) and

familiarity with Adobe Analytics and Google Data Studio or similar tools

   • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, as well as experience implementing analytics tracking on e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, and BigCommerce

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
