A leading provider of advanced manufacturing solutions, specializing in high-precision industrial technologies is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join their organization. This company is committed to innovation, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making to enhance operations and customer solutions. This role can be remote but candidates in Northwest Indiana are preferred.

We are seeking a Data Analyst to support the migration of over 50 reports from SQL Server Analytics to a modern Microsoft stack, including Power BI and Power Automate. This role will play a crucial part in modernizing our reporting infrastructure, ensuring data accuracy, and improving decision-making capabilities across the organization.

Contract Duration: 6 – 9 Months

Required Skills & Experience

   • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

   • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or database management.

   • Proficiency in SQL Server, Power BI, and Power Automate.

   • Familiarity with DAX, Power Query (M language), and data visualization best practices.

   • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

   • Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desired Skills & Experience

   • Knowledge of additional Microsoft technologies such as Azure Synapse, Dataverse, or Power Apps.

   • Strong experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and dashboard development.

   • Ability to work with large datasets and optimize query performance.

Daily Responsibilities

   • Report Migration (40%) – Migrate existing SQL Server reports to Power BI while ensuring data integrity and visualization effectiveness.

   • Dashboard Development (20%) – Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support business intelligence needs.

   • Automation & Workflow Optimization (15%) – Utilize Power Automate to streamline data workflows and automate reporting processes.

   • Data Optimization (10%) – Optimize SQL queries and data models for improved performance and scalability.

   • Stakeholder Collaboration (10%) – Work with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into actionable insights.

   • Troubleshooting & Governance (5%) – Ensure data governance, troubleshoot discrepancies, and address performance issues.
