Hybrid Model: 3 days a week onsite

Location: City of London

Key Responsibilities
• Manage data sources and data flows from SQL databases into Power BI.
• Design and optimize SQL views and stored procedures for efficient data retrieval.
• Develop interactive loan portfolio reports in Power BI for real-time insights.
• Embed Power BI reports into internal applications and ensure seamless integration.
• Create paginated reports accessible via Power BI APIs.
• Collaborate with teams to understand reporting needs and automate data-driven insights.
• Maintain data security and compliance with financial regulations.

Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in BI, Data Analysis, or Reporting, preferably in financial services.
• Strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, and Power Query for report development.
• Advanced SQL skills, including views, stored procedures, and query optimization.
• Experience integrating Power BI with SQL databases and APIs.
• Ability to build embedded and paginated reports for business applications.
• Strong understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with financial data analysis and reporting standards.

Desirable
• Experience with Python or R for advanced analytics.
• Knowledge of Azure Synapse, SSIS, or other data warehousing tools.
• Exposure to financial compliance and regulatory reporting.
