Data Analyst - Power BI
Rate: £240 - £300 per day (Inside IR35)
Exeter - Hybrid
Our client is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to support their digital transformation initiatives. This contract role offers the chance to drive data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
The Data Analyst will develop and maintain corporate performance dashboards using Power BI. They will work with key stakeholders to deliver insights that inform strategic decisions.
Core Responsibilities:
• Build and implement a corporate performance framework while working with multiple departments to understand their reporting needs
• Design and maintain Power BI dashboards that present complex data in clear, actionable formats
• Handle data collection and cleansing from various sources, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data protection standards
• Provide training to staff on dashboard usage and data interpretation
• Partner with external suppliers to implement best practices and maintain reporting standards
Essential Skills:
• Extensive Power BI development experience with a focus on dashboard creation
• Strong data analysis skills and experience in data cleansing
• Working knowledge of data protection regulations and information governance
• Proven ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Experience in stakeholder management and requirements gathering
