Data Analyst (fixed Term Contract)

As Data Analyst you will analyse large volumes of financial and sales data to provide valuable insights that optimise asset finance offerings, drive revenue growth, and enhance operational efficiency.

This role is a 6-month fixed term contract, potentially renewable for a further 6 months.

Ideally you will work 3 days per week onsite in our Wellingborough head office, however for those who life a distance from the office we can discuss more flexible working arrangements.

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE
• Taking information from the data lake in Azure, then clean, validate and analyse.
• Design and create visually engaging sales dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI to track performance against sales targets, optimise sales processes, and improve lead-to-deal conversion.
• Collect, clean, and validate financial datasets, including asset leases, loan terms, payment schedules, and pricing models.
• Developing extracts to a high standard to meet regulatory requirements.
• Ensuring the information that is pulled out is correct.
• Maintaining and improving the data catalogue to ensure it is a single source of truth.
• Presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, and operations, to understand business objectives and provide data-driven recommendations.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• Bachelor’s degree in data science or a STEM subject.
• Proven experience (4+ years) as a Data Analyst.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets.
• Experience of Power BI.
• Knowledge of Azure Fabric.
• Solid understanding of sales metrics, sales performance analysis
• Ability to work with both financial data and sales data.

IT WOULD BE NICE FOR YOU TO HAVE
• Experience in asset finance, leasing, equipment financing, or related industries.
