Job Description

Metrics LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Data Analyst as we compete for a contract in support of a transformative initiative for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Acquisition and Logistics (OAL). This remote role will play a critical role in supporting modernization and transformation initiatives, driving change management strategies, and enhancing communication efforts within the VA acquisition community.

Responsibilities:
• Collect, analyze, and interpret performance and operational data to support OAL modernization efforts .
• Develop and maintain data governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with VA security and regulatory requirements .
• Build and optimize data visualization dashboards to communicate insights and track key performance indicators (KPIs) .
• Support change management initiatives by identifying trends, evaluating risks, and recommending improvements to business processes .
• Assist in the integration of enterprise business architecture data to support VA acquisition transformation objectives .
• Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across VA acquisition programs .
• Prepare executive-level reports and presentations, translating complex data into actionable insights for VA leadership .
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align data analytics with strategic goals and mission priorities.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, statistics, business intelligence, computer science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or performance management, preferably within a federal agency.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Smartsheets .
• Experience working with data governance, quality assurance, and data security policies in federal environments .
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint) for reporting and collaboration.
• Ability to conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to support acquisition and logistics decision-making .
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights to senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or other federal acquisition programs.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field such as data science, business intelligence, or public administration.
• Knowledge of federal procurement regulations, acquisition workforce policies, and performance management frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning, automation, or predictive analytics to enhance data-driven decision-making .
