Salary: To £44,000 dependent upon skills and experience

Hybrid working (office based in Birmingham) – Currently 1-2 days in the office per week

Your role:

Due to an internal promotion we are now seeking a Data Insight Analyst to join our Customer Insights team. We operate a hybrid working model, so you will split your time between the office and home.
This role is key to achieving success within our Data Exploration pillar of our Data Strategy which has a primary objective of turning good data and analysis into action that rewards our members, customers and make certain the future of our society. You will be working collaboratively with all the teams across our Data Centre of Excellence.
What you'll be doing:
• You will be efficient in data selections delivering campaign requests from the Marketing team as well as other departments. You will use business intelligence to optimise selections to drive the best results for the customer and Wesleyan.
• Marketing will rely on you to measure, centralise and report on the valuable insights which will enable them to deliver campaign-level performance insights and recommendations for optimisation.
• You will support a focus on data quality, taking responsibility to ensure refreshes of the data warehouse are correct, highlighting any data issues and overseeing remedial fixes
• Carry out UAT to ensure the data warehouse is performing as expected
• Apply problem solving skills and detailed root cause analysis techniques to provide true recurrence prevention
• Pack and present a story to stakeholders to generate buy-in and engagement using Power Bi
• Establish strong working partnerships with team members from Marketing, Finance, Customer Experience, Data Engineering and other stakeholders
What we're looking for:
• You are experienced in utilising marketing measurement methods, including A/B testing. You’ll be able to build and maintain automated processes to facilitate the production of visually engaging self-serve dashboards
• You’ll be passionate for all things data, including trends and developments, and it goes without saying that you need to be numerate and will love interrogating data
• You have delivered insights into complex data sets, data related projects and solutions
• You understand management information, can interpret results and carry out the analysis of supporting data to give insight and make recommendations.
• You enjoy problem solving issues within complex data sets to enable meaningful visualisation of the insight.
• Communication is key. You need to have great stakeholder management to understand how best you can support them and create multiple visualisations of their data
• And finally, you can’t support our business with great insights unless you have a strong working knowledge of Excel, Power BI and ideally SQL.
