We are seeking a skilled Contract Data Engineer to help build a cutting-edge platform for consolidating and analyzing customer data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, ETL processes, and cloud infrastructure, with a focus on data integration, optimization, and quality.
Job Overview: As a Contract Data Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement data pipelines for our Customer Data Platform. You will play a key role in ensuring that our platform can effectively aggregate, process, and analyze data from multiple sources, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with data architects, data scientists, and business stakeholders to define integration and transformation requirements for the platform.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance data pipelines for the ingestion, transformation, and storage of customer data from internal and external systems.
• Work with various data sources (CRM, marketing platforms, transactional databases, etc.) to aggregate and process customer data in real-time and batch formats.
• Ensure data quality by implementing validation, cleansing, and error-handling processes within the pipelines.
• Optimize data storage and processing frameworks to ensure scalability and performance.
• Use cloud-based tools and services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) to deploy and manage data solutions.
• Document data workflows, pipeline architectures, and procedures for transparency and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, collaborating with technical and business teams to meet deadlines.
• Monitor system performance and conduct regular optimizations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure adherence to best practices for data security and governance throughout the data pipeline lifecycle.
