We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Developer to lead the development and modernization of data products focused on Outage Management for a major telecommunications company. This is a high-impact role where you'll be central to managing and transforming power outage data using modern cloud technologies.
You’ll work closely with engineers, offshore developers, and cross-functional leadership—including VPs—to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-quality data solutions that enable downstream teams to consume mission-critical outage data.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and migration of data sources into AWS, focused on Outage Management use cases.

• Interface with high-level stakeholders and leadership to align deliverables with strategic goals.
• Ensure timely delivery of clean, usable datasets to downstream consumers and other outage teams.
• Support documentation and knowledge sharing across teams.
Required Skills:
• Strong AWS experience (S3, Lambda, Glue, EMR, etc.)
• Proficient in Python for data engineering and scripting tasks.
• Experience with PySpark or Apache Spark for big data processing.
• Proven experience leading technical teams or projects in a cloud/data engineering context.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with offshore team members and business stakeholders.
• Comfortable working on mission-critical, high-visibility projects.
• Experience with Airflow for workflow orchestration.
