Key Responsibilities
• Define and implement data architecture strategies aligned with the Customer Journey programme.
• Guide our client’s data-driven decision-making process, ensuring effective utilization of data to inform business strategies and initiatives.
• Develop a data plan to address data quality issues in line with To-Be Processes.
• Promote data best practices across our client’s organization, facilitating the sharing of tools, techniques, and methodologies. Collaborate with data owners and IT teams to generate insights and apply them to business challenges.
• Identify and work with data owners to drive data integrity and quality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure they are captured in future data models.
• Design, build, and maintain data models with the business.
• Create detailed design documentation for data architecture, including data flow artifacts and data dictionaries.
• Define and drive best practices for data design, capture, and storage.
• Maintain high data quality standards across the business, ensuring adherence to regulations (e.g., GDPR).
• Work with the IT team to ensure systems capturing and mastering data align with data design.
• Ensure the implementation and adherence to data security, particularly with sensitive customer information.
• Develop and maintain metrics to assess the impact and success of data integrity and quality efforts.
• Define strategies using data-driven analysis across different business lines, monitoring performance, and providing clear recommendations to support the company’s growth aspirations.
Required Skills
• Experience in developing data models for CRM, CLM, and ITSM/Incident Management systems.
• Strong knowledge of data governance practices and managing data quality issues based on priority.
• Expertise in data modelling and design (conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling).
• Proven experience in leading data architecture projects.
• Ability to build relationships and work across teams to deliver significant change.
• Experience in planning, executing, and leading data processes and controls.
• Success in creating data models that represent complex business scenarios and support decision-making.
• Analytical and problem-solving expertise.
• Proficient in using data tools and platforms, such as data catalogue, data lineage, data dictionary, data quality, data security, and data analytics tools.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into data architecture designs.
• Knowledge of data visualisation and reporting tools.
• Understanding of data privacy laws and regulations.
• Passionate about data and its value, with a creative and curious mindset for solving business problems through data.
Desired Skills (Not Mandatory)
• Experience with Salesforce Revenue Cloud
