Business Strategy Consultant
Duration: 6 month contract
Location: Fully Remote
Pay Range: $45-55/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Must Haves:
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
• 5-7 years of experience in business analytics or business consulting experience
• 5-7+ years of experience with data analytics
• Strong excel and PowerPoint skills
• Strong experience presenting to stakeholders
• Provider, payor, health insurance or complex government program (Medicare or Medicaid) experience
• Understanding of clinical environment
• Comfortable working in matrix style organization
Plusses:
• Power BI experience a plus
• Management consulting experience a plus
Day to Day:
Insight Global is seeking a Healthcare Business Strategy Consultant for a large health insurance client of ours. They will be joining a clinical team to work with the business and various data science and data engineering teams to analyze data trends, propose new ideas and opportunities for improvement. The business team they are coordinating with is the payor operations teams.
Responsibility breakdown:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business problems and requirements (25%)
• Perform data analysis, including data cleaning, transformation, and visualization (50%)
• Create and deliver impactful presentations to communicate findings and recommendations (25%)
What will make a candidate successful in this role:
Candidate with experience on high level data analysis with ability to generate meaningful data insights and decision driven data visualization
Ability to appropriately leverage Data science team to request meaningful data and generate actionable insights from the requested data in lieu with the business problem at hand
Ability to serve as a liaison between business needs (operational, clinical, policy, or investments) and data science to drive data driven strategies
Self-starter and active problem solver with an ability to quickly get up to speed to own initiatives with low to medium complexities
