Business Intelligence Developer
Job Description:
A higher education client of Insight Global is seeking a BI Developer to join their application and data team.
This Senior BI Developer will need expertise in the Microsoft Data Analytics stack to join their Data Enablement Program. This BI Developer should have at least 4 years of experience in developing and implementing BI solutions, including data visualization and data integration with complex datasets from multiple production and analytics systems, such as data warehouses. Proficiency in Power BI and the Microsoft ecosystem, including SQL Server, T-SQL, and SQL Server Analysis Services, is essential.
This position will be a fully remote 6-month contract role with possible extensions and can pay between $50-60/hour with medical benefits and 401k options offered on contract. If interested, please apply!
Must Haves:
• Bachelors Degree in Business, Information systems or related fields.
• 4+ years of BI Development Experience
• 4+ years of experience developing and implementing BI solutions
• 4+ years of experience with data visualization and data integration
• Experience with datasets sourced from production and analytics systems including data warehouses
• Experience with Power BI and the accompanying Microsoft Technologies including SQL Server, T SQL, and SQL Server Analysis Services
• Experience with business process improvement in Data Analytics
Plusses:
• 5+ years of experience in customer-facing BI analysis and development
• Exposure to financials, HR, operations, healthcare, higher education, clinical and or research settings
