BI Developer (Contract, 4-6 Months)

We're seeking a skilled BI SQL Developer to automate manual reporting/data processes using the Microsoft BI stack. You'll design, develop, and implement automated solutions, working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs.

Responsibilities:
• Automate manual reporting.
• Develop/maintain data pipelines (SSIS/ADF).
• Optimize complex SQL queries (ETL).
• Design/implement data models (SQL Server/Azure Synapse).
• Create reports/dashboards (Power BI/SSRS).
• Implement data quality checks.
• Gather requirements and provide training.
• Document development work.
• Troubleshoot data issues.

Qualifications:
• Relevant Bachelor's degree.
• Proven BI SQL development experience with automation focus.
• Deep understanding of Microsoft BI stack (SQL Server, SSIS/ADF, SSRS, Power BI).
• Expert SQL skills (queries, procedures, functions, triggers).
• Data modeling/dimensional design experience.
• Strong ETL knowledge.
• Data warehousing experience.
• Excellent communication/collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Azure cloud experience (ADF, Synapse) a plus.
• Other BI tool experience (Tableau, Looker) a plus.
