

Business Intelligence Administrator
Title: BI Admin
Location: Newark, NJ - Hybrid Local only
Duration: 12 Months Contract To Hire
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain applications as part of a large-scale architectural migration within an Agile environment.
Collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to understand business needs and transform them into scalable solutions.
Manage and integrate data from various sources: web-based, internal/external databases, flat files, and more.
Support the development and maintenance of an enterprise Data Warehouse.
Drive data management and delivery performance at scale, preparing for AWS cloud migration.
Create interfaces and integrations for evolving data sources and new applications.
Design solutions for storage and retrieval of large internal and external datasets.
Required Skills
5+ years of hands-on BI platform administration (Power BI and Tableau).
3+ years of Power BI/Tableau report development experience.
Proficient with SQL and database platforms (SQL Server, Azure).
Experienced with data visualization tools (server and desktop).
Strong knowledge of data warehousing, ETL, and BI technologies.
Comfortable working in a Windows-based environment.
Experience working in Agile teams (Scrum Master/Product Owner).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Desired Skills
Python and REST API experience.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
Exposure to capital markets and foundational financial data (especially in Fixed Income).
Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, SAFe methodology, and DevOps practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
