Job Title: BI Business Analyst
Location: Remote (U.S. Only)
Duration: 3-Month Contract-to-Hire (CTH) – Possibility of Extension
Compensation: Max Pay $30/hr W2 (All-Inclusive)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a BI Business Analyst with strong Business Intelligence (BI) experience to support data-driven decision-making and business integrations. This role involves analyzing business data, managing integrations, troubleshooting data issues, and ensuring seamless reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with BI tools, and a solid understanding of data warehousing and business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze and interpret business data to provide actionable insights.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
• Develop and maintain BI dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Manage and support business integrations for data access between customers and third-party software companies.
• Troubleshoot integration and data quality issues, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Coordinate with internal IT and business teams to enhance data processes and reporting capabilities.
• Document project extracts, data mappings, and integration workflows.
• Support data governance and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Train new analysts on BI tools, standard integrations, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Create and document procedures for BI reporting and integrations.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5+ years of experience as a BI Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or IT Business Analyst.
• Strong background in BI tools (Power BI) and data visualization.
• Experience working with data warehouses, SQL, ETL processes, and reporting tools.
• Prior experience in a customer-facing or cross-functional team collaboration role.
• Preferred experience in eCommerce, B2B integrations, EDI, or supply chain management.
Skills & Abilities:
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
• Experience with Excel (Advanced preferred) for data manipulation and reporting.
• Knowledge of various file formats (EDI ANSI X12, XML, cXML, Flat Files).
• Familiarity with ETL tools, IBM Sterling Integrator, and EDI translation tools.
• Experience with data communication protocols (AS2, SFTP, FTP, VAN).
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder interaction.
