Business Analyst
Salary: $47.50 to $55.00 hourly
Description
We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Business Analyst in Independence, Ohio, 44131, United States. The selected individual will be pivotal in the deployment of a custom software system to franchises nationwide, involving considerable interaction with the end clients. This role necessitates frequent travel of up to 50%.
Responsibilities
• Facilitate the gathering and documentation of business requirements
• Engage in process and technical documentation tasks
• Conduct quality assurance testing and software quality assurance activities
• Undertake data cleansing tasks for enhanced system performance
• Provide post-implementation support for the custom built software system
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate system functionality
• Coordinate project activities to ensure timely delivery
• Perform data analysis to support business decisions.
Requirements
• Possess an in-depth understanding of Business Requirement Document preparation and execution.
• Demonstrated skills in Requirements Gathering, including the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable plans.
• Proficient in Process Documentation, with the ability to accurately document and streamline business processes.
• Experience in creating and maintaining Technical Documentation, ensuring all technical aspects are clearly articulated.
• Familiarity with Quality Assurance Testing methodologies, with a focus on identifying and addressing potential issues proactively.
• Knowledge of Software Quality Assurance practices, including the ability to ensure software meets all relevant standards and requirements.
• Demonstrated ability in Data Cleansing, ensuring that business data is accurate, consistent, and reliable.
• Experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), with the ability to coordinate with end-users to ensure that software meets their needs.
• Proven skills in Project Coordination, including the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong Data Analysis skills, with the ability to draw actionable insights from complex data sets.
