GeoLogics is working directly with a hiring manager at Raytheon Technologies. He is looking for a Business Analyst-Data Engineer. This position is remote and a long-term contract.

Hourly rate: $65 per hour (w2 non-benefited) OR $85 per hour (c2c – must be your company; cannot work for a 3rd party vendor)
Summary:
The priority of required skillset is a mix of Business Analyst and Data Engineer. The analyst skills require being able to clearly communicate with our business requestors to understand their data requirements and fill out our Requirements Specification Document (RSD), in addition to the Data Engineer role using Matillion to create data ingest into our Snowflake environment.
This person should have the following skillsets (from the manager):
The Data Engineer role is expected to perform multiple development tasks for the full data development lifecycle. This includes data model with Erwin, ETL development with Matillion, data pipelines using Java, data exploration using SQL, processes, and quality controls such as code reviews. Our current cloud-based platform is Snowflake.
Develop solutions in accordance with standards, patterns, and principles for the data team.
We use Agile framework, and resource will be assigned to a team. As such, this role will work with Scrum Masters during planning events and agile ceremonies to foster technical development discussion with their development team and product-owner, facilitate story breakdown and acceptance criteria.
