Title: Senior Business Analyst
Start Date: March 10th, 2025
Location: FULLY REMOTE
Schedule: Part-time 20 hours per week. Typically working morning hours.
• Candidates must be willing to initiate SQL queries at 12pm EST on the 1st of each month and monitor data for approximately 1 hour. Times will differ if the 1st of the month falls on a weekend
Duration: Contract until end of year with possible extensions.
Training: This position will be trained by the individual scheduled to retire.
PR: $42/hr to $48/hr

Insight Global is seeking a fully remote Business Analyst II to join one of the leading communications providers in the country. The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing complex financial data, completing ad hoc projects, and fulfilling monthly, weekly, and daily reporting requirements. This role supports leadership in making well-informed, strategic decisions for the organization. We seek a candidate who is proficient in business strategy and financial concepts, with strong knowledge of systems and data integrity. The Senior Business Analyst will collaborate closely with finance, engineering, operations, and other departments. Additionally, the ability to automate reports and conduct quality assurance testing is essential to ensure accurate data reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
You will collaborate with other analysts and managers to oversee the ongoing development of reporting, which includes budgeting, forecasting, reporting, automating reports, and ensuring data integrity. Your role involves presenting and analyzing data to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to leadership for decision-making. Additionally, you will interpret financial results and continuously seek to identify and implement activities that support the team's objectives. It is essential to ensure that the information and applications released to various groups align with quality standards and data accuracy. You should be proficient in working with SQL databases and tables (SQL Server and Oracle) and have the ability to use Visual Studio to maintain existing SSIS projects.
Minimum Requirements:
• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in an analytical role, managing large amounts of data.
• Must have the ability to run and manipulate SQL queries.
• Previous experience with Oracle Database.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency utilizing Power BI for reporting and analysis
Preferred Requirements:
• Previous financial analytics experience.
