

BI Developer
Job Title: BI Developer, Pricing and Analytics
Location: Remote
Term: Six Months Contract to Hire

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with departments and personnel to coordinate and interface on projects.
• Manage new data marts for Tableau Server.
• Streamline and improve existing reports while adhering to defined policies and data definitions across financial systems.
• Respond to ad hoc requests for information and assist with configuring reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• Identify data governance issues and collaborate with Senior Developers to resolve them.
• Support clients with ongoing reporting needs.
• Design custom reporting solutions and deliver new reports, KPIs, and metrics using Tableau.
• Lead the development of project architecture and processes where appropriate.
• Ensure reports meet client needs by gaining a deep understanding of underlying data and business uses.
• Travel to various entities for work sessions with BI initiative stakeholders.
Requirements
• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, data science, finance, or a related field.
• Work Experience:
• At least 7 years of combined experience in two or more of the following areas: marketing, product management, sales strategy, service operations, supply chain, or commercial finance.
• At least 1 year of analysis work, including data visualization or data modeling, preferably in a multi-entity healthcare provider environment.
• Skills:
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Skilled in delivering impactful presentations to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Strong computer skills with expertise in spreadsheet programs, databases, programming languages, ETL, and decision support systems.
• Experience with Tableau and SQL Server preferred.
• Basic knowledge of statistical algorithms and packages.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Tableau and SQL Server, particularly in a data analysis and reporting role.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and decision support systems.
• Knowledge of statistical algorithms and packages is a plus.
Salary And Benefits
• Associate Developer: Conversion at $60-$80K (Hourly pay rate around $39)
• Developer: Conversion at $70-$100K (Hourly pay rate around $44)
• Sr Developer: Conversion at $85-$120K (Hourly pay rate around $50)
