

BI Dashboard Analyst - Level 1
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Cincinnati, OH that is seeking a Level 1 BI Dashboard Analyst to join their team on a 12-month contract basis. This is a fast-paced role and will sometimes transition from one project to another quickly. This position is fully remote in any US location with no travel required.
Summary:
This role will be reporting up to the Senior Manager of Analytics and Asset Protection. The reports are seen at all levels of associates. The team is looking for someone who can build Power BI reports from scratch using multiple data sources that could potentially include databases, Excel, flat files, and/or other structured or unstructured data sources. Additionally, this person should be very comfortable with writing Data Analytics Expression (DAX) queries, creating relationships, and be familiar with using Power Query in Power BI. This person should be very comfortable with writing complex SQL queries (i.e. joins, nested queries, recursive queries, etc.). The team will provide guidance on the existing reporting, how data is currently set up, and how to integrate into Power BI Reporting. The team is also looking for someone who can maintain and update existing Power BI Reports.
REQUIREMENTS:
1-3 years:
• Power BI - Should be able to Develop reports from scratch and update & maintain existing Power BI Reports
• SQL (must be able to write complex queries)
• MS Excel (must be proficient)
• R (if not R, Python is ok)
• Statistical analytical skills - must be able to analyze, interpret, and explain data to various audiences
• Database knowledge - not just pulling data, but creating links to data so that all metrics that they use are available
Nice to have skills and experience:

• Alteryx

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
