

BI Analyst
Salary: $50.00 to $60.00 hourly
Description
Robert Half Technology is seeking an experienced Power BI Analyst/Developer to join a local non-profit client based in Seattle, Washington.
Duration: 3–6-month contract with possibility of extension
Location: Seattle, Washington (100% Remote anywhere in the United States)
Schedule: Monday-Friday (40 hours work week; being available during core business hours)
This position will focus on leveraging Microsoft Fabric and Azure to build and optimize data lakes. The ideal candidate will have strong backend expertise in Power BI, proficiency in SQL, and experience with ETL processes and data warehousing.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and optimize Power BI solutions using Power Query M, DAX, and Power Automate.
• Manage and maintain ETL processes to support data transformation and integration.
• Work with SQL databases, ensuring efficient data modeling and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to migrate enterprise reporting from SQL Server to the cloud.
• Utilize Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Lakes to enhance data management and analytics.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data accuracy, performance, and reporting.
• Support business intelligence initiatives by ensuring data integrity and security.
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in BI development, data analytics, or related fields.
• Strong backend expertise in Power BI, including Power Query M, DAX, and Power Automate.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL processes.
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing and Data Lakes.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and experience working with cloud-based data solutions.
• Experience with Azure and Azure Data Lakes (preferred).
