Azure Cloud System Engineer

Candidate must use their own equipment for the duration of the engagement if not local.

Job Description:
• The Azure Cloud System Engineer will provide support to the GIS Unit for cloud-based GIS resources. This role is designed to leverage advanced knowledge and skills in cloud systems to help build and maintain the client’s Azure GIS systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain client's Azure GIS systems.
• Perform system monitoring, system tuning, and cost efficiency tasks to ensure the availability and performance of GIS cloud services and applications.
• Document procedures for cloud system build, monitoring, troubleshooting, and regular maintenance.
• Coordinate with other teams within the GIS Unit to manage cloud-based GIS systems and processes.
• The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud systems, particularly Azure, and the ability to ensure the efficiency and stability of GIS-related cloud services.
